There's no denying it - some shoes are better than others when it comes to dancing in, and some are just so popular that you see them being worn by house dancers from around the world. Sorry, foam bottom or non marking is what you want to look for. The bottom has kind of a furry texture.
Look for foam bottom, also called no skid shoes. They are generally cheaper no name brands. I used to always get starter brand shoes at walmart but like the rod lavers they changed from the foam bottom to rubber. Right now i wouod recommend going to payless and looking for champion brand cross trainers. Again they are called foam bottom, no skid. If you feel the bottoms they will have kind of a furry texture. They are awesome i am so so glad i found them.
